The Collectors Edition on disk looks very nice.

Good points:

Loads of tracks
Loads of cars
play your own music in game
fantastic physics and control
ad-hoc multiplayer (not been able to try it yet)

Bad points:

not much to do in single player except challenges, single races with 3 AI cars, time trial, drift trial.
no online play (there is someway to do it ad-hoc but it looks a bit painful to set up)
graphics bugs, generally the graphics are pretty good but some bugs crop up here and there, some cracking in the scenery geometry and maybe some buggy clipping.

No. Local only...although you can setup a local connection in such a way that allows online play.

I've been playing it over the past few days and its pretty good. Just bought myself an Audi R8 LM Race Car (Team Playstation)

7 maybe 8/10...there isn't a career mode but it kinda suits it in a way. The fact you can only access 4 manufacturers at a time is kinda rubbish too but the gameplay is good, its not as realistic as GT on the consoles but it suits the controls well. Its all about the FR cars though

Worth picking up? Since the review I watched (IGN?) was so negative I was considering nfs shift instead, but then I saw a gameplay video LOL.

I got it for free but I would pay for it...one of the few PSP games I can say that about. Plus you can transfer your cars over to GT5.

I do not like GT PSP. I think you should get GTA: Chinatown Wars, one of the best games for PSP and one of the best games in the GTA series, very addictive and fun to play.
