2nd season round up!

English Cup : We started of well in this, dominating the first two games, then got knocked out 3-2 by Sunderland in the Quarter-finals, not a cup run I want to remember to be fair!

FA Cup : We somehow survived every round here, narrowly winning them all by a goal. We surprisingly pulled past Chelsea, Liverpool and City, then beat Blackburn in the final, in the first half of extra time. We had luck on this cup run!

Premiership : Again we won this, 2nd season in a row. Was probably one of the best seasons I would have had with Pompey. We finished on 90points, having only lost 4 games all season, and drawing just six. That leaves 28 games won. Goals flew from everywhere in the premiership, where Aguero finished top overall goalscorer with 59 goal, and Defoe came second with 53. Thats 112 goals between the two players in 38 games. wow! Man united and Man City gave us a close chase all season, following us by a few points until the last 10 or so games, where they messed up but we kept rampaging. 4th place went to Arsenal.

ECC cup : Wow! What a competition! I had PSV and Olympiacos in our group, and last but not least, Spanish giants Barcelona! We pulled through the group quite easily, managing to walk away from Nou Camp with 3 points, and then repeating the fete at home. We won 5 and drew 1, and had already progressed from the group with 2 games left. Then we narrowly got past Rangers, beat Sevilla very comfortably (9-0 agg) and then losing at home to inter milan 1-0, and to just beat them away 2-0, getting through to the final up against Barcelona. We beat them 1-0, and kudos to Cech who saved a penalty in the second half which kept us 1-0 up to win the cup!

What a season. Won a treble, plus the community shield v Villa (4-0).
