What the fudge is socom?

I've never played one, ever, so someone tell me what the big fuss is please

i just thought the socom was the pistol from mgs!

Even I know!
Although I only had that one from the PS2 that came with the headset.

Basically its a tactical army game based on squads. From what I can remember it had a great communication system that you could give commands to your team using your headset. Graphics= excellent and so does gameplay.

Its what GRAW tries to be and since I'm actually complimenting a Ps3 game you know its good

Definitely. Its coming out as a digital download as well as Blue Ray but i'd get the blue ray because its coming bundled with the first official Bluetooth Headset... made by the socom team themselves for the game. They have also incorporated special voice communication software so it should work great.

Bah, Socom never floated my boat, online wasn't something to shout about, the graphics were decent but is about the only thing I liked about it...

I was never a bid fan of the single player game but to bash socom online is blatant blasphemy

.I am playing socom 3 on PS2 now and socom fire team Bravo on PSP

you even have cross missions so you can uplaod ones from the PSP and vice a versa to gain extra points. just link up with a usb cable.

online is great fun but even in the english speaking games it full of french knobs.

one thing I will say is people come in and ask who I am talking to and when I tell them it the guy on the game they say oh friend of your I say know he's a pixelated image who follows my every command...they back out of the room very slowly bowing and offering me cash just not to kill them.especially when they figure out I am noy online.
