it'll still be the same and i did mean the gameplay is slow paced, not because of character movement speed.
the controls are fiddly, switching camera perspective from left to right, using a different button to zoom in/out...it would've been so much better to zoom in with 1 button then zoom out when you release it.
the claymores are beyond retarded. |

?? Zoomings better than cod4, tap up you've zoomed in tap again..ect in cod your stuck at the same magnification and you have to hold R3...? |

I really like the beta, Did about 8 supression matches, no lag, but it did say something about not connecting to severs properly, the controls are well fiddly and abit retarted. Also whats up with hit registration, sniped a guy twice and still he was still walking. still not convinced about buying it yet. Agree with phatboy tho it does feel kinda slow.

Tried it earlier, lag, but thats probably my connection.
Its too slow paced for aswell. And yes the controls are too fiddly.

Yes they can update the beta all the wait but it won't matter.
The beta is a different build of the game. Any updates applied there can't just simply be carried over to the retail game because it's different code. The updates have to be rebuilt for the retail game.
And if you read my whole post you'd see it said " how many fixes can they make to a game before release after the game has already gone gold? None."
I said before release. Obviously they can release a patch after release.

The zooming isn't retarded at all. The game as a whole takes so much more skill than CoD. But I doubt I'll be getting SOCOM. |

Dunno. I just don't enjoy playing it.. I was only gunna get it to play competitivly, and when it first came out I was doin good most matches.. but then I went on and played with people from GB and got owned. But it's just not what I hoped it to be. Someone said something on the GB forums, that 90% of the people only play it and want it because it's called SOCOM - which is so true. |
