No credits rewarded for online time trial on GT5 prologue?

Recently i entered a temp online time trial on gran turismo 5 prologue and i set a fairly decent time for me anyway (rank 1400 something) and eagerly waited for the session to end a few days later and expected some credits towards how well your time was in relection of the rankings but i didnt get any obvisously.
What do you guys think?

maybe whe only get a reward when you get a top10 ranking.. don't know

Yeah, could be, but that really hard and i was counting to get some credits to go towards the ferrarri F1 lol, especially with online races being so annoying and just repeating the normal races gets a bit boring after a while lol.

well fastest way to get credits is on s-9 daytona use a fast car and set your can on hard suspension and best is to use ford gt. if you dont bump into other cars you get first place at the end of 2e lap. good luck
