when u play online, how many points do u get for win / draw etc..

i noticed if u play someone higher in rankin u get more points..

I think the standard amount for a win or loss is 10, but if your high in the rankings (which I was once but am not now) you get less if you beat a poorer opponent, and if you get beaten by them they sting you for a lot more than -10 !!!

So its a good ploy if you wanna get up the ranking by beating all the rubbish people but beware if one beats you then you get a big hit on your points !!

I've given up on the rankings system really, I just get lag games too much to care about it, I have probably lost 1/3 of my games due to lag issues, I'm not blaming it, there are so many better players out there than me but its been the cause of a lot of my losses, and probably some of my wins ?? !!

I think they should take into account the teams that we choose as well, say a win with Barca 5 or 6 points a win with Pompy 7 or 8 or more . . . . ??? Would make things much more even !!!

yeah lag is a pain we all knew it was gona happen but we play anyway..

also you should get less points for winning using BARCA, INTER, MAN UTD...so on...

and more points if u were to use weaker sides..

but then again we all get the same choice of which team we can pick so why not just pick the best team to use right..??

Yeah true but I like playing with rubbish teams sometimes but find myself getting back into a corner and having to pick a better team because everyone else plays as the best teams, it gets annoying getting beat all the time just because you wanna play with different teams !!!

It should be based on an overall position and teams picked, it could even go as deep as say you get beat 4-2 by Barca and you are a rubbish team you should get something out of it ??? Maybe a point or 2 for your goals ?

This will probably never happen as they can't even sort the lag out so they'll never get anything like a proper ranking system going !!!

Also when people disconnect its so annoying, if you are winning the score should be what is at the disconnect time, I played against a guy who was ranked much higher than me, I was somehow ridiculously 6-2 up by half time he quite and I only won 3-0, that’s more than a bit annoying !!!

haha yeah. i do like the new system for giving points. it encourages people to be smaller teams. i had a rating of 712 points the other day and with 5 loses in about 10 games i found myself losing 20 points per lose, and gaining 8 at the most for a win. but i'm all for it!

I like playing as the not so good teams, it actualy improoves your ability cause you really have to pass the ball and be accurate with your finishing. I remember i nearly beat liverpool as japan, i was winning 2-0 but i gave away the lead in the 2nd half case japan are not to fast or have lots of stamina. Ended 2-2 though and i probably gave the high ranked player who i was playing against a bit of a shock.

People who play as barca would crumble apart if they played as a lower team cause people who play Barca dont pass the ball much, they just hit it to messi, eto or henry and its all over. Most people just pass to messi.
