I hate playing against Barca on Pro Evo Online !!!

Bear with me this is my reason first;

Right I understand that people have the right to choose to play with whoever they want, but understand from the opponents point of view its gets so boring when you fancy a different match, exciting or close, different goals scored etc. Stop picking Barca for every online game, its so boring having to defend the runs and see the same old goals from Henry, Etto and Messi. i.e. getting outpaced and conceding a rubbish goal from someone cutting in from the flank. Try some other teams. I'm all for losing games but not to the same teams and same goals every time. I guarantee you will enjoy the online game so much more if you change things occasionally. I urge you to try new teams you are limiting your Pro Evo experience LOADS !

I've played about 40 online games so far (won about 20 lost about 20) and I've had some wicked games with all of the following so far, Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bolton, Pompy, England , Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Spain, Italy, France, Japan, Athletico Madrid, Inter, and one or two with Barca. I've listed some of the top teams in the world there as well so why not try a few. I'd give Australia a go personally I was shocking a few people with my performances with them, giving Brazil and Argentina real battles ! Their team is surprisingly good after you make a few changes !!!

THE PLOY TO STOP IT;

This actually works, most of the time anyway !!

As soon as the team selection comes up move onto the international team selection, more often than not even if the opponent has already chosen Barca, if you fiddle around the international selection section for a while (20 seconds or so) they decide to change as well, it means you don't have to play bloody Barca, so pleasing !!!!

Hope this works for you lot, its made my Online Pro Evo experience much better !!!

have never used barca because its so predictable, normally everton , have tried man utd , celtic and ajax a couple of times

ive never gone barca either, been man utd, Real madrid, Inter!! all great teams and a definate better experience than playing Barca all the time.

I think folks desire to win rather than having fun too, is too strong. I prefer to have some fun too, and playing against barca is just too predictable, as said above.

I personally think that ppl that go Barca are a bit incompetent at PES. :P Yeh ,u can do alot of tricks and rip the defence apart with super pace and accurate shots, but they are very forgiving. Rarely do u get a pass going astray and a shot going wide. Going another team, you actually have to have some skill to string some moves together, therefore making it more rewarding when u score a goal as a result!

Anyway, thats my rant over. :lol:

Try out my tactic it works I promise, even if you have to play lots of international games its better than having to play Barca.

I must of played 6 to 8 games last night and I don't think I played against them !!

I haven't used Barca either, I think people that always play with them arre not very skilled. I alos hate playing Brazil. I just beat smeone who was Brazil and his ranking was 638(i am 520). I beat him with arsenal. lol.

I noormally play with Roma,Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal and valencia. 8)

If anyone plays with Barca I just do the childish thing and pick them as well !!!

Although It didn't work out too well when I played this unreal guy who scored 8 of his 8 shots on target, 8-6 I lost, I was a bit unlucky really, he just didn't miss.

Think he was ranked about 1,000 so I wasn't too annoyed !

Well i currently play as Aston Villa or Ivory Coast, occasionaly portsmouth too. All of which are great teams, i like shocking people by beating them with lesser teams its far more satisfying.

Whenever i see someone picks barca i reject them from the match, i also dislike people who play as inter cause adriano is the same usual long unstoppable shot as always.

I'm on your level there, sometimes I just like being a random team, I picked Ghana, and only just lost 4-3 to Barca, I did score 2 lucky goals mind !

I've played with Pompy & Ivory I do agree good teams !!! You can score some seriously good goals with Muntari, Lauren is randomly amazing as well ! Not really tried Villa, although beat my mate and scored about 4 with big John Carew !

I'm sick of getting smashed all the time by the good teams, it almost puts you in a mood to pick good teams as well, I find myself doing that loads recently !

Bring back the average teams !

well, i too (as someone who usually plays england or man utd) was getting pissed off against barca all the time. and im a newbie to this game (online anway)

i usually go straight to manu utd and hover to see what they do.... last night i thought 'sod it' and just picked barca myself after the other guy refusing to play as a 'normal' side.

OH MY GOD! how easy are they to play? i played against a guy whos beaten me a few times always as barca vs man utd. since when has thierry henry been THAT FAST? and THAT GOOD AT SCORING? i beat him 5-2

so - thats my decision now - if they play as barca so will i. they are so unevenly balanced between all other teams; speed, scoring from silly angles and not to mention the through runs they do! its like a team of supermen. and since when did barca ever actually get that good anyway? henry was sold cos hes old and not too good any more yet seems the best forward ive used! his speed is amazing!

so - barca = lamer... nuff said!
