Assassin's Creed AI sucks??

I just read this article that talks about how crappy game Ai is..even in the "next-gen" era. I, for one, see no problem with it at all. The article talks about how crappy the Ai in Assassin's Creed is, but I recently played through the game and absolutely loved it. I thought the AI in that game was definitely revolutionary. Sometimes it seemed as though enemies were able to predict my movements. Am I crazy or is this author completely mad???

I think the AI is so-so. Not great, not bad. Room for improvement. And yes, it was too easy. I think falling from big heights ought to be more punishing and so should being struck by a sword. I remember Ms. Raymond saying that you can't just stand there and take a hundred blows to the head, it'll be more realistic than that etc. etc. She lied.

no but you can take 20 to the body

It's a good game, huge areas, good graphics, huge climbable buildings and free-roaming! Only downside about this game is that it's just doing things over and over.
it's a great game - don't get me wrong, it's just a tad repetitive sometimes. the AI on some of the people are too crud, low-qual talk that's repeated half a million times "What is he doing?" and "It would be funny if he falls down and hurts himself" and finally you land perfect jumps all the time, just run and keep hold of the X button. that sums it up =]

rating - 7.3/10
