should i get a ps3?

hey

im new here and wanted some advise really!!

i was thinking of getting this when it comes back in stock:

but ive heard some stuff thats worries me about the ps3!
so if anyone can tell me any problems they have had with there ps3 and the game GTA 4 that comes with it please can u tell me!!

well, i havent heard anything as such i was just wondering if you have had any problems and is there any need for me to get a bigger hard drive than the 40 if i only want it for games and playing with others on the net?

not really any problems well when compared to the 360, in fact bairely any problems at all, ive had mine for 7 month now and no probs at all, and even the people with launch ps3 have no problems,

you wont need a bigger hd that 40gb unless you want it to be your media center i.e music films, pictures etc.


basically the ps3 is awesome.

i take it your of the female variety with a name like sarah, my ex gf has a ps3 and she loves it, says it was the best thing she ever brought, and also it was the best thing my parents ever brought for me haha

but yeah get one, you wont regret it, and its free to sign up on the psn

Its upto you really if it has games you enjoy then go ahead and get it But your only going to get bias opinions on a Ps3 forum. If you have a friend who has both then ask him/her Or borrow a friends Ps3 for a while and then a friends 360 and see which you like more

admittedly playing on one first would be a good idea before investing all that money, but in my opinion, i have played all 3, my dad has a wii, i have a ps3 and i used to live with 2 xbox's (they belonged to my mates) and i think the ps3 was the and still is the better console

If you have a HDTV then get a ps3 since its now the only console that has the latest HD movies, or if you wont a shed load of games and cheap ones at that then a £200 360 will sound good, personaly im a fan of a few old and new sony franchises so ask yourself that question too solid snake or master chief?

depends what you want.....if its online gaming your after steer clear of the ps3...its pants at the moment, but saying that hopefully it will improve.
