Is Wipeout just available as a digital download? Cant see it on play.com and still no broadband

Ill probably be getting it, looks great and despite not completely liking the first wipeout i still played it lots which is kind of odd as these days if i get a game i dont really like i rarely play it much.

Isnt this supposed to be released today :P. well updates usualy happen late thursday or friday morning but it was set for release today.

Its an amazing game i bought it yesterday, only problem i get is its just so crazy. After concentrating so much i felt like i was gonna have a nose bleed and felt really sick and dizzy but i remember the original wipeout having such effects.

There was a mode called zone which is basicaly a course that you constantly drive around through 20 zones i think which takes a while but the surroundings change colour and stuff and it just sets your focus off. The whole point of that mode is to get as far as possible without blowing up.

Online is fun too although i joined a race on the fastest setting and did not do so well. For 11.99 its well worth buying considering the ammount of races and stuff there is.

i never really liked the old Wipeouts, i dont think i'd like this either.

Took the plunge and bought it yesterday. It's class, still got the Liverpool studio magic in there. Absolute bargain price as well. Takes a while before you get the hang of it and arent crashing into just about every corner.

Havent tried the online yet coz i heard its just a big lag fest at the moment. Getting some practice in anyway first. I havent played wipeout since its early days and some of the new race modes are great!!

Online is great, Me n SBOB had 12 race tournament with zero lagg

i agree it takes some time to get used to it but its worth it

no lag considering the visuals and the speed at which everything happens online. Still makes me ill playing it for too long though

Got a weird eye complaint at the mo (optic neuritis if anyone has heard of it) and zone played merry hell with it. Was dead chuffed to get a silver first go though.

It's ****ing mint, imho and I am bloody loving it! Just need to unlock some more and I'll get online as I have played every wipeout on PS and PS2.

Gonna ask for a PSP for chrimbo as well!
