Default .ISO games

Hey
i recently found out that you could play games on your PSP without a UMD by downloading the game from the internet and i want to know how to do this. i have read i couple of guides on this and most of them say i need to buy a "Pandora Battery" or/and a "magic memorystick" also i need to downgrade the version of my PSP can anybody help me so i can play .ISO ans .CSO games on my PSP?
BTW i have the original PSP with the version 4.05 software installed and only have one battery for the PSP which came with it when i first got the PSP when they were released
all help appreciated
RUSS

you need to downgrade to 1.50 then upgrade to a custom FW.

I think I'll stick to buying games and keeping the newest update installed. They've added playstation network to it now, and I'd like to see where they're going with that
