really confused!.com wireless settings

hello,

can someone pleaseeee help me out
i have a rather rubbish orange livebox....im trying to connect to it with my playstation, i go all through the steps, choose the livebox from the list of connections then it aks for a wep code...problem is the livebox has a 26 letter/number code instead of the usual 8 letter network key.
so, i rung orange and they told me to change the settings on my ps3 from an 8 digit thingy to a 26 digit thingy and thats where i got confused
any advice would be very much appreciated on what to do....

i have rainbow six vegas 2 and neeeed to get online!!!

cool it all goes through but when i do a test the ip address fails

Try setting a static IP for you PS3.....might help !!
There should be info relating to that in that link I sent on or just navigate
around those pages and you should find something....

Okay thats weird,
Because i have been just trying to do the exact same thing with my orange livebox,
The WEP is massive, and dosent fit so it wont connect for me
were both in need of some help now, lol

ya should be able to change it from ur router home page , if ya see an option on the left that says wireless click it and if theres an advanced optin click that then ya should be able the change the encryption key size, hope that makes sense to ya
