if you are having trouble with psn try forwardin the ports they are
psn1 80 tcp
psn2 443 tcp
psn3 5223 tcp
psn4 3478-3479 udp
psn5 3658 udp

ps can somone make this a sticky

Hello everybody. I am new in this forum. I have ps3 and my favourite game is GT4. The problem I am facing is I just can't play online. I can't chat online. I can surf the internet by using Internet Explorer inbuilt in PS3 but it seems difficult for me to figure out how to play online.I don't know if GT4 can be played online. Can all games be played online? What do I need to have if I want to play online. Do I have to put the game in the PS3 in order to play online? Does the game itself have an inbuilt link which enables gamers to connect with other people? I would love to receive simple explanation about it .What to press and what to set? I feel there is something wrong somewhere? I asked here in my place Vancouver about online play and all I could hear from them is " make an account and things will be OK". I made an account and nothing happened!!! Guys, please if you have useful explanations to me , I would be grateful to hear from you. My PS3 is connected wirelessly. I can surf the internet. Please help!
