online connection weak!!

I have sky broadband with a netgear router the connection is wireless and about 20 foot away from the ps3. I lose the connection sometimes during online gameplay.

As I lose this connection my question is, if I connected a netgear rangemaster would this give a more powerful signal.

is it the signal strength or internet connectivity, if its signal strength try a wired connection or moving you ps3 closer to the router, or the router closer to the the ps3 and if ifs ur connectivity, if its connectivity call up ur isp and get em to do a diagnostic

The laptop and pc work fine wirelessly it just the ps3.

when i play cod4 the signal is poor sometimes yellow sometimes green.

thats way i mentioned about the other router netgear rangemaster

I cant bring the ps3 nearer, its in the living room and the router is above that room in the bedroom at the main bt conection.

hmmm why not move your wireless router closer range to your PS3.
