NAT Type(please help!!)

Ok I really need help on this topic[/b].

I am a registered Eircom wireless broadband user and I am currently havin problems in turning my Ps3 from a NAT type 3 to a Nat type 2.I have read all the forums but have found them pointless.I know how to enter my router but I am having problems from there.

I have a Netopia 3347NWG router and 60 gb Ps3.
Could someone please give me a simple step by step way to getting a NAT type2 .

I have went to settings,put in my SSID code and then my WEP password.
From here on I'm confused because I have tried manually and automatic for the I.P adresses etc. and keep getting NAT type 3.

What are the other items on the ps3 network test?

Does it connect to the internet and playstation network?

We would need to know this before trying to fix anything else.
