ps 360's and ps3's come in the hardware department, application's are in the software department. PS3=Better value hardware wise, although agreed the ps3 comes second in terms of gameos but the undeniable factor you have to take into account is that software can be upgraded, hardware cant... 360 will always have a ****ty dvd drive that scratches discs, 360 will alwayshave a huge brick of a power supply attached to it encase you get pissed off with the circular red light and decide to throw it in a river, 360 will always have cheap looking hardware, 360 will always cost more in the long term, wifi, hddvd, wireless controllers, play and charge kits, a measly 3 core processor, a media center which doesn't want you to run popular codecs such as divx, money spent on xbox live, tiny little avatars, gamerpics, and games in arcade which really shouldn't cost any money. What a f+cking waste of money. Its easy to poke fun out of the ps3 when you don't know what the hell your talking about... George forman grill for example... hell yeah it may look like one but at least it doesn't reach the same temperature as one like the 360.
As for halo, well what can I say. I loved the first one.. It wasn't the greatest game I ever played. And for some reason people love it... I don't understand it... the quality of the game goes down after every release, halo2, 3... When I had asked someone to tell me why its the best game ever they said its because its really cool and innovative, apparently bungie have invented this new thing called saving replays. wow. now I have to agree.. Microsoft fanboys can suck my balls, actually just remove the case from your 360 while its on and grab the biggest transistor you can find. 360 is dying, get over it. And in the long term, if the 360 doesn't phase out like the marketers predict, well then that just shows that most consumers are idiots.
pps another thing which wrecks my head is the whole blueray argument 360 owners have.... "If you back blueray then your killing competition" <- these people are the f+ing worst kind of idiot... They tell people to back microsoft and stand up for the little guy, DirectX anyone, Microsoft isn't going to let anyone else use that anytime soon.. not that it matters with opengl3 and so GAMES FOR WINDOWS comes into the equation.. Its not designed for the consumers benefit but rather a desperate attempt to try and tie pc gaming down to windows yet again. Microsoft fanboys shouldn't be allowed to argue because the company they support is an evil money driven corporation which likes to eat up smaller companies, organizations ideas and spit them out as there own. F+ing gamercards.... Im disappointed sony didn't go through with adding this feature to the ps3, why didnt they. Because of consumer idiocy, they knew there would be idiots on the internet saying "oooh sony robbed that from microsoft", when in reality microsoft robbed the whole concept. Bioshock, yeah thats an original game, you can kill kids in it and .................eh.............hmmmm......kill kids.....CoughCoughPainkillerCoughCough.. Disappointing game which only sold so many copies due to hype and fanboyism.Damn not coming out for the ps3, wait a sec its **** no worries .. I don't understand all this fanboy-ism. Ever. I personally think that 360 and PS3 are both really good consoles no matter which way you look at it and would be happy to have either of them.

I liked the 360....but having people on the net rant about 360 supremacy has completely pissed me off.. and having them advertise it on every ps3 forum pushed me to breaking point.
No-one seemed to answer the question surrounding this thread so I will.... thus far it isn't possible to play your music while playing a game on the ps3.. I used a 360 for about a year and admittedly never used this feature much.. Although it is rumored that the access of certain features from the Game OS while playing a game will be included in the 2.0 update.
This means that you might be able play music while playing a game in the near future. Nothing has been officially confirmed or denied for the 2.0 update which could mean one of too things, Its possible the features rumored could be included or Sony doesn't have the man power in the software department to cover all the rumored but knows that this update rumor is offloading allot more consoles.
