Ive got issues!

Im having some serious issues going online at the minute, especially with COD4. Usually goes something like this....

Select COD4, Multiplayer, Play Online, then select TDM or Domination or whatever i feel like at the time, get matched with other players, countdown begins, map appears, "setting up game appears" and thats where it all goes t1ts up.

It will stay on "setting up game" all night unless i quit the game via the PS button. Now whenever i select "quit game" i get a black screen with "please wait" on it. Give it a few minutes and the PS3 beeps quickly 3 times before rebooting itself. WTF is going on?

Could be your t-internet connection acting the maggot....

I take it you've restarted your router and the like ??
Does it only happen with COD4 ?? Try a different game and see what
jazz is....

Done all the usual stuff Mads, i was playin online last night with no problems at all but im pretty sure that wont last long.

Its really startin to f*ck me off, took about 7 or 8 attempts to download an 18mb update for GTA4.

I had exact same problem last night, 3 times it happened all on COD 4.

yeah then screen went black, and it rebooted itself.

Im already crying , this is my third ps3 and its playing up, i hope it dont continue

lol same thing happened when i bought gta4. When it loaded up it just didnt do anything. it had the loading writing at the bottom, so i pressed ps button and then the please wait, 3 beeps then re-boot. was gonna cry because id just got gta4 so i thought it was the game. then it worked perfectly and its been fine since.

(i only started having PS3 in january, so i have had three in 5 months! )

my ps3 occaionaly reboots when i quit game on cod, ot goes back to the lobby then reboots to the sign in screen, but fine most of the time

first one- Kept crashing when i saved games.
second one - refused to even turn, it just kept beeping.

sony customer service were naff, luckily argos replaced them both. ive only been ps3 gaming since feb.
