Default is the 2.4 update available?

I've not downloaded it and it says my PS3 is up to date when I goto system update?

they took it down cos someone hacked it and i bricked a few ps3's, i have it but a lot dont

i havent, and also think about it, how would an update affect lag in a game, the 2.40 update isnt even on the same servers as cod 4, they have nothing to do with eachother, so not sure how you could be lagging anymore than usual

i think the update is slowing down the system more than causing lag... alot o people saying their ps3's are freezing and crashing everytime they hit the ps button...

but you know what the infinity ward servers are like, and its not always gonna be ur connection even if your lagging, i mean that wil be down to the hosts connection

Im kinda glad i missed out on it now.....the internet is plagued with horror stories about what the 2.40 update did to peoples systems.

My ps3 runs brilliantly with an excellent connection most of the time, and it would have been my luck for it to have bricked my system.....

its not the hosts connection that affects gameplay its the player with the lowest speed that affects everyone since it takes them the longest to resend the data

yea i wish i didnt have it, i think my ps3 is on its death bed need to get a little black box to bury it in. I dont no if it is working right yet, only seems to be my account it does it in, i gave up trying to play COD last night, coz the xmb kept freezing out and the game was loading up dead slow, somtimes not at all *huffs*
