Finally starting to get half decent at this

Is it just me or do other people find that this game has a steep learning curve, its taken me hours to stop getting my arse handed to me and i can finally get a grip on tactics and whats going on (even to the point where i won a game just me on one team vs three others with only 5 seconds left before i scored my winning points, sweet).
I think this game has got a hell of alot more potential than the mindless shooter i had it down for originally, i hope they keep expanding it for some time to come.
Thoughts?

i agree mate, im still finding that i get owned all the time, and that everyone else kills me easier than i can kill them. ive only played for a total of 6hrs though so plenty of time for improvement.

But yeh, takes a lot of practice imo!!!

just get the flying technique down and u should be okay

flying i hate!!! can dodge everything except homing missiles lol

chaff is really all that dodges them but if u fly straight under the them,stop,and slowly rise a bit so they can lock on then drop down real fast they will blow themselves up

You're abit more advanced than me mate hehe, but ill get there.
I find that locating a server with fewer users is always good for the practise not to mention sneaky play due to the huge size of the maps.
If anyone fancies a small game drop me a line we can sort something out, my connection should be good enough to host

Dudes, In my opinion if your looking to warm up at the start of a Warhawk bout, Tank Warfare is the best. Once you get into the swing of it, you can eventually after some practice take planes out of mid flight!


p.s This really pisses off the Yanks with Headsets!

I managed to do this once, i spotted a plane flying by and just thought what the hell ill shoot just abit in front of it and what do you know it worked, you could have knocked me down with a feather, such a good feeling especially when you've been constantly having your arse handed to you then some fool flys into your bullet....saaaaaweeeeeeettt
