Use the search tool dude.....top of the page...loadsa people have had
similar probs that'll help you out....

You're post is also difficult to understand. I gather that you're not using a router
to connect your PS3 and you're wondering why it works for PC and not PS3 ??

You'll need the router as it's most likely a broadband modem too...your PC
may have a built in modem......

All in all you'll need to use the router for your PS3....

One more thing....how is your longevity as long as it is and yet you've only posted
for the first time today !!?!

A router is now a system requirement is it

My system work perfectly via router or without router for the last 12months plus, why not now

The stickies or forum threads did not answer my questions, unfortunately

Point to note I updated folding home today, so my ps3 has internet connectivity ????????

Who is your ISP?

I had to go in and set the DNS server address on the PS3 and my PC to get them to connect to tinternet the other day. Worth a try

Check you're IP is different on your PS3 to any PC's you've connected to the router.
Check your DNS settings too. (Try going to the router's home page on your pc, the web address for your router is often 192.168.1.254 it should give
you all the info you need....)

Oh and officially....Welcome !!

Cool

Checked setting again and i have 3 different ip addresses set by dhcp server

All via Belkin mimo g router

Laptop (wireless) 192.168.0.147
PS3 (wired) 192.168.0.146
Desktop (wired) 192.168.0.237

DNS for all is 192.168.0.1
Default Gateway is 192.168.0.1
DHCP Server is 192.168.0.1

When i change the ps3 ip to 192.168.0.147 ip conflict occurs

Any suggestions

then lower the firewall settings, or open the psn ports on the router, or put your ps3 into your router dmz, these are the only solutions i can think of
