SDTV BEST PICTURE

I have a sony trinitron 100Hz 32" SDTV and a sony bravia 42" HDTV and i switch between both. The picture on the SDTV at 16;9 is seriously blurry and can give a person motion sickness.So for all you irish whos sdtv's are RGB compatible and have scart sockets i recommend the fanatec PREMIUM RGB CABLE FROM SNAKEBYTE.IT makes the most of your tvs capability and the picture is clear and crisp.Now i tried all the stores ,sony center, dixons ,currys ,harvey normans, game, matlins...etc and no joy so i got it on amazon.uk.its the best for this particular issue.just search Fanatec-Premium-RGB-Scart-cable at amazon.co.uk and read the reviews.
to check if your tv is RGB able just select it from the xmb display configuration and if the picture is ok then it will work

HDTV all the way for me lad ... couldnt go back to a SDTV now.

Samsung do a HD CRT tv which i was told was the best for gaming... it wasnt. I quickly returned it for a HD LCD and havent looked back. HD LCD is defo the way to go.

Yeah a gold plated hdmi cable and a hd lcd are best but just for those who have a sdtv and are annoyed by the lack of progressive scan on the ps3 (which is available on the xbox).it makes a serious difference to the picture compared to the normal scart you recieve in the box.

yeah youre right it doesnt make it any better.They just paint it gold because it looks nice.Gold is a non reactive metal thus the signal has minimal interference and a clear picture is given.The shorter the cable the better aswell because the input has less distance to travel, thats why "Monster" scarts are relatively short.

thats all rubbish hdmi is digital and as long as its under 20m and there no difference between a €100 monster cable and a €20 cable i have both, scart isnt digital so it makes a bit of a difference with that

there cant be a difference its digital so it will either display it the same or not at all, if it was analogue like the scart well yeah ya would see a difference

guil is 100% right. A digital signal is a digital signal and nothing can be improved upon a HDMI cable to change that
