ps3.ie weekend tournament in Dublin?

I'm thinking about organizing a ps3 Tournament day in a hotel somewhere in the Dublin area so i just want to see if anyone would be interested. This could be a tester for further events in the future with a bit more scope depending on how it goes.

To get it up and running though we would need people to bring their ps3 and a tv and games, then hook them all up and have a good days worth of carnage (maybe motorstorm and resistance). A smallish entry fee would cover all the expenses but i dont know how much it would cost to setup yet so dont know how much that would be at this stage.

If anyones interested let me know here and we can take it from their. If we get enough people bringing a ps3 maybe a few of the UK site members could pop over the pond for the day an all?

What in the hell is TW????

Playing online could be a problem if we had 10 ps3 connected to the poor ickle hotels broadband at once but i could look into it. The long term plan is to rent a bunch of ps3 and tv's so you would have the hassle of bringing them along but I just want to test out the theory before spending all the bucks. After xmas their should be plenty of people up for it.

I would enjoy earning loads of Claw points for the excellent whoopassing i'd be giving you.

WGL is Irelands Permier console gaming community. Our next LAN is 22nd September at The Glen Royal Hotel in Maynooth

So what on offer

this time around we have themed up with Ubisoft and will have PS3 Pods and wait for it..........................mulitiplayer HAZE for all to play

along with this we aim to host a number of PS3 tournaments including RFoM, F1 and Warhamer

WGL has PS3 Code boxes used to review games for their wekly page in The Daily Mirror on a Friday and so will be able to demo and play all of the new to be released PS3 games in the pipe line.
