Default poor image quality in menu

firstly hello to you all as i am indeed a newbee to this forum.ive recently purchased a samsung le40m87bd, which is amazing. im only having one minor issue though whenever i am in the ps3 main menu the image goes really crackly but is fine during gameplay. no big issue i know but its just really irrating was wondering if anyone else has the same problem and if so is there anything you could suggest, any help much appreciated. i have a sector hdmi cable from blockbusters btw if that helps lol.

Sounds strange alright, never heard of this before. I cant see why it would only be giving problems in the XMB.

yeh i know tell me about it. dont guess anyone else has this tv do they?also my hd cable only cost me £12 but in the argos the hdmi cable with the best speed for the ps3 is like £70 but do you really need a hdmi cable of this price to get the best from your tv?

no, a hdmi cable is a hdmi cable, and dont ever believe something argos says, i have worked for them and trust me
