If I stick a new HDD in my PS3....
will it then be possible for someone else to register on the network?
I am selling one of my machines. What I am hoping is puttting a new HDD in will put it back to the point of a newly bought off the shelf machine. There is very little saved on it and i have a 2.5" sata drive (new) kicking about.

just formay the one in it, and the account isnt linked to ur ps3, ya could sign into ur psn on any ps3

jus like Guil said, just choose 'Restore PS3 System' from the system settings menu and vio la, back to new. Then just choose 'Use existing account' on ur new PS3 (if u get one) and u can use ur old PSN account (so can whoever buys ur PS3 from u).

Holy cow !!
No offense D from Oxford if I really wanted them I could of got them. Yes I will change the HDD...some smart G** might find a way to get it off the old drive. Don't want any chance of someone using my account Only joined to get the answer to the one question so I'll be seeing you all.... I'm afraid I can't stand forums at the best of times.
