Default Australian PS3 in the UK

Hey guys, hopefully in the next few months work will be sending me to work in london for a year and other than the basics i'll be taking with me i want to take my PS3 with me, but i was just wondering if i just get a converter plug and plug in my australian ps3 should that work in the UK???

Do australia have a different power voltage and if so you'll have to get a step down converter or step up!

it wouldnt have mattered anyway, the transformer in the ps3 can be used in all countries regardless of voltage and phase

im a 3d modeller, we have an office over in the london and i figured it would b a good change for a year. well it all sounds good i;ll have to pack it up and bring it with me, i can handle going without a pc at where ever im gonna live but with gta 4 coming out so soon im gonna want to play the on my down time.

unfortunatly its not as fun as either of those 2, i work in architectural visulization
