5 player co-op for Gears of War, new gametypes announced.
Xbox Live Avatar system introduced. When in an Xbox Live Party with upto 8 of your friends you will all show up as Mii-like avatars where you can talk, share music, photos and video and stream movies to each other etc.




The new "Your in the movies" game makes you get on camera and follow instructions (Swat flys, run until the bungie cord pulls you back etc.). Then the game takes those movements and puts you in a low-budget movie.

Oh and Phatty you may not like FF13 but this is huge for Microsoft.
In Japan, Final Fantasy XIII is seen as the last, only crown gem in the Playstation 3 library. MGS4 has come and gone, and what was next?
Final Fantasy was (and is) the biggest selling Japanese game still left as a Playstation exclusive - Dragon Quest jumped ship.
Now that's gone, and a X360 game.
The leverage this gives Microsoft is huge because Microsoft actually has other RPGs ready that Sony does not. Tales of Vesperia, The last Remnant, Infinite Undiscovery, and Star Ocean 4 are all exclusive. Say what you will, but being able to own those 3 games that the PS3 doesn't have + FFXIII on the 360 is a huge shift, because the X360 is now the true, undeniable console of choice if your a JRPG fan.

japan will stay a mega sony fanbase regardless of FF13 now being multiplatform.
the americans love the 360, the japanese love the ps3
