i dont have a flash drive i use my 4gb psp stick

Media sharing is easy to set up. There's 2 types though. If you have windows Vista then you can set up Windows Media Centre on the 360. Thats if you want a real proper media centre. To set it up simply:

On your PC go to Windows Media Player. Then go to tools, then options and then go to library. Go to Media Sharing and then select "Configure sharing".Check all boxes and then you should see a little xbox 360. Click that and then allow.


Go to the media blade on the dashboard and should see your PC there with all your music, pictures and videos

ok iv dun all that found the 360 with my laptop what you said ect ect then i go on 360 test connection and it fails at PC selected

Well get a fecking HDD to play online! Or at least borrow a friends!

And no you don't need a HDD to play Custom games online!

Then maybe you have a firewall up. Have you got UPnP enabled?

nice one man just disabled my firewall for 30 mins and its all just started to work

click library-media sharing its the same way you do it with your ps3

If you don't have classic view enabled then right-click the empty space at the top beside Library


It probably wouldn't let you play xells because he could've of been playing a gametype or map it required you to download. (With a HDD it downloads automagically)
