Technical question regarding wireless internet.

I recently purchased a device in my local PC WORLD which enables me to change my current wired DSL broadband into wireless.

The device is names "D- Link DIR-635 WIRELESS N ROUTER."

My problem is that in the automatic setup it asks me a question which is something like..

Choose one of the following:

Static IP address

Dynamic IP address

Unknown

Unknown

I have tried picking the two at the top but I do not know what is required to enter into wither of these boxes.. I understand this is a difficult question and hard to follow but I would greatly appreciate any help that anybody can give me on the subject.

Do you know your ip address?

oh wait..in the automatic setup, just pick static..if it asks you for the IP, you might need to get it .. :P
