Btw we aren't anywhere near a recession yet  A recession is 2 consecutive quarters of negative growth whereas the first half of 2008 we had 2.5% growth  The money we are getting from exports is also increasing with it growing by hundreds of millions this year
The only thing causing a recession is us. When others say we ar in a recession then we feel the need to cut down on spending and therefore that results in less sales for retailers which results in them cutting jobs to keep profit margins

to the consumer, I was on about the cost of upgrading the network infrastructure !!
Anywho....I'll have to wait it out to suss out what the craic is in the coming month or two....

P.S. I used to have NTL cable TV when in Dublin for a year and their service
