NTL further increase speeds

I absolutely want to have *** with this company.

Customers currently on 1Mb Value, 3Mb Express or 6Mb Ultra can upgrade to 3Mb, 10Mb or 20Mb respectively for no extra charge

Customers on 2Mb Light, 6Mb Express or 12Mb Ultra will automatically be upgraded to 6Mb, 10Mb and 20Mb respectively.

The rollout started yesterday. The 20mb package comes with 1.5mb upload and NO DOWNLOAD CAP!

The 20mb package costs only 40 euro
Compare this to Eircom who's highest package is 12mb and is only available to businesses at 204 euro a month!
This upgrade pushes Ireland from 25th to 10th place in the EU Broadband speed league!
It should also be mentioned that they have reduced the price of broadband.
12mb package was once 48 euro but the 20mb package is now 40 euro

May think about switching, it turns out after a download/upload test, my supposedly 2mb virgin media is only 900+ KB

cow can ya get the broadband only or do you have to get the tv package thing aswell and is it wired into the gaff or is it one of then box thingys you have to put on the roof to get the signal???

I'm on broadband only

When they installed mine they put a box on the outside of my house and inside Free wireless router and USB Key AND first 2 months for 20 euro

sweet!!!! i have the the 3 meg wired from eircom and it costs a small fookin fortune50 snots a month or somethin to that effect... i rang ntl aswell and guess what????? i'm sorry sir but our broadband is currently not available in your area... i'm in fcuking dublin.... how can it not be in my area???

New broadband is available to 500,000 houses. Check again in a few days

ntl/upc sre muppets i checked my line on the site the other day and it said all there services would work then i get an email off them sayin they only have phone services in my area

If it says it online then just book a call-out like I did. It costs nothing and the technicians know a lot more than their customer care.
