laugh away washbrook, those that laff last..... We did ourselves proud against two super football powers France & Italy. What have England done? they have to rely on the yids to help them. We never got any help were a small nation and we fight our own battles. Our fans will be missed next summer at the party. I wonder how many england fans will be over fighting and misbehaving... that is if ur lucky enough to qualify.... :roll:

felt sorry for the scots, in fairness they deserved to go through.

Shows what a team with pride in the jersey can do (i.e. Croatia -- not that it a pretty match), hopefully a bloody next to civil war is not a requirement for such pride....

England much like ireland has had sooooooo many rubbish decisions, McClaren was just one of them.

so having time to reflect from last night, and hearing the news that the muppet has been sacked, im actually still in shock. so many bad results during this campaign against teams we should have beaten easily. for starters, croatia are a pretty good team, but for our 2nd goal..we just cut them up..thats how easy it was..

firstly, although steve was a muppet, the players..even worse. steven gerrard for starters..he really is over-rated as a footballer now. i think he's lost a little bit of what he used to have, the drive and conviction. same for lampard..these two literally run their respective teams..yet they don't even bother for england.
the backline we had last night was defo our 2nd choice, micah richards was just awful. yes he has so much potential, but his positioning is awful and how the hell can he call for offside?! fool. SoL had a good game i feel, same as usual, but they all looked shakey. as for bridge..wow..we actually missed ashley cole quite badly.
fantastic game from crouch, one of the best he has ever had. he won the ball, won headers and led so well from the front. but playing only 1 up to from the start was too defensive IMHO. and defoe and bent..they aren't really world class, and we can't really rely on them. i really feel our attacking options are terrible for england atm, maybe apart from rooney [owen doesn't count 'cos he is always injured]

as for the future..i dont think martin o'n will take the job, i sure as hell wouldn't. villa are a good side and have a lot of potential. i see capello has said he would like to, he'd be pretty cool..although he takes a lot of stick for being defensive he is a superb coach. but i hate to say it, we got to have JOSE in there. he is the manager that knows pretty much all of the england players, and can get them playing togev, or give them a good kick up the backside. plus, he would speak his mind over everything..something that the england fans, and nation, deservers atm. get him in NOW.

well thats it, all this time/years i have defended the national team. cant do it anymore. ****in muppets.
