im bored and thought id make a sport united thread where we can talk about football, cricket, rugby, olympics etc.... since football is round the corner and the olympics starts friday....


what i found funny this morning is thaksin shinawatra is under investigation and has had a reported £1 billion frozen in assets and hes saying that if an offer for the club comes in at summit like £120 million or summit he will take it.

lol yea i dunno why i spelt it like that?? its all corrected... and we aint too bad at cricket... id say its 1 of our best sports.... we aint ever winning anything in footy or rugby.... tennis we aint got a hope.... golf is probs our best chance cos of poulter... finished 2nd in the open to harrington

If you actually look at the players England have (in footy) we have some of the worlds best players.. they just don't click at all.

To me, we don't have world class.
We have good players yes but not world class.
How I see it, is it's the world class players they play around at their club makes them look world class.

totally agree.... our players dont work well together... our defense does but its our midfield and strikers who let us down.... stevie g and lampard are both too similar i think to be able to play along side each other... and rooney i think is over rated.... bring back alan shearer and owen combo

Lampard sucks, they should just play Gerrard with someone compatible with him.
