GTA lV rumours

Hi all, I'm a teacher and some of the kids at school have all stopped playing GTA on their PS3's (yeah I know questionable parenting letting them have it!?!), can anyone tell me where the rumour started that it downloads viruses onto the HD and fecks your pS3 because they are all up in arms about it.

At the moment there's no such thing as a virus for a Ps3 and it'll most likely stay that way. GTA IV cannot download a virus onto a Ps3 because it connects straight to Rock*'s servers

thats complete rubbish, you cant get virus' on games console... well yet

Why not?

Im not saying to you that you can, Im asking you why we cant get them?

I often wondered why we dont need to install norton or something on console's. They would make a packet on it!
