GTA 4...What you think???!!!

Ok, just bought this at Sainsburys in Torquay....£44.97??!!

There were only 6 other people there waiting, unlike Tesco's in Exeter at midnight, which sold 2000 copies, 1000 for xbox and 1000 for ps3 in 10 minutes!!!!

Just installing it now, will let ya know what its like

Plain and simple its unbelieveable...

when it said you can watch your tv i headed straight there turned it on and watched Ricky Gervais doing his stand up show politics, well about 5 mins of it, the advert for piss wager is hilarious and the lifestyles of the rich and famous tv show just topped it off, this game will never be touched by another.

Lol i got home and it was on my table waiting for me to play it so i stuck it in and wow.

Anyway i crossed the road and bam a car hits me and sends me flying and i loose like half my health. Who would have thought normal drivers could be that dangerous.

I also watched TV for about 15 minutes its that good. The cartoon with the space rangers and the aliens. Also the comedy is good, its all good actualy.

Just got to love how the city feels it just feels so real.

It feels like you are actually in NY when your walking around. I've only done a few missions so far coz i've been having too much fun just running about the place and taking it all in

I'm impressed!!

The map is huge, the graphics are nice.

I am struggling to with the controls, having never played it before, and it took me 20 minutes to find something to throw through the chinese restaurant window.!!!, and driving is hard to get to grips with, but thats cos im new to the game itself.

But all in all, wowzors

Looks like i might make a few quid with my other 2 copies, there selling well on e-bay

Well finally caught up on sleep last night but also got a chance to "Rock the Auto" as it shall now be known.
I was going to write a big review but I know some of you younger forum users have the attention span of a goldfish with Alzheimers so I'll be brief.
I was never a huge GTA fan (shoot me) as I always found the controls on foot to be a pain in the arse and the only downside I found about GTAIV is that the on foot controls again are a little clunky from time to time but having said that are a great improvement especially combat which is now a pleasure.
The Car collision / stunts cant be knocked, I see scope for some amazing stunts here, the acting is spot on, as in movie spot on.
The graphics are amazing, at certain times of the day (sunset especially) its just mind blowing to nip through the city with its golden edges and slight speed blur from your cars speed.
Looking forward to getting into the deeper side of LC life, at the moment (the first five missions or so) its pretty much a training mission.
All in all a great looking game with hopefully months of gameplay ahead of us.

PS the servers are jammed at the moment so cant get online

Any of game by a f*cking mile, idiots say "Halo 3 is going to sell a million milliion copies" All because of BunG*Y and their hype, this is going to be the best game of the year, forget little big planet, maybe even MGS4 this is just amazing, just standing in the middle of a street watching people walk by, stop and talk to each other, to listen to people in hotdog stands calling out, watching things like Niko breaking into a car and driving off with it is AmAzing!!!
Forget GTA San andreas, GTA IV is in an entirely different league

hmmm beating COD4 is a pretty bold statement fella, i would have to see how the online game pans out for a couple of months because for me COD4 has infinate replayability.

for the time i did manage to get online mate, its awsume!!! your deffiantly gonna enjoy it!! when in a game wit 2 mates and we was all in a car drivin towaards one the other guys and boom he rocket launched all 3 of us!! AWSUME!
