GTA 4 updates and info

Rockstar has revealed we'll get our first look at its next-gen gangland adventure on 29th March, when a trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV will be shown across the Internet horizon.

Rockstar was unable to comment on what exactly we could see in the trailer, though we're sure it will be enough to ruffle Jack Thompson's feathers and make us dribble a little excitement in our news-pants.

Hopefully it will also mark the start of a real campaign for the game kept so rigorously under lock and key. All we know so far is that it will be launched simultaneously on Xbox 360 and PS3 in October, and that exclusive downloadable content will be made available for both systems.

However, it's likely that the game will be built on the same RAGE engine that powered Rockstar's excellent Table Tennis foray last May.

We're also wistfully trying to believe rumours that the action will take place in London this time, marking the series' first 3D foray outside of America. We can but dream of a car-chase through Albert Square, or punching Martin Fowler in the chops outside the Queen Vic.

But other than that, you'll have to wait and see.

I am getting excited already as love the GTA's & we still have 8 months to go yet.

it all depends on this trailer as no information had been givin as of yet but someone said there was a leaked pic taken from one of the rockstar offices??

Does anyone actually know when the release date is? I saw on a couple of sites and also by people its coming out in april 2008. but then someone said its going to be next Christmas :cry:

There is no official date as of yet...it could be April or May nobody knows yet... :wink:

thanks Sir! i was told they were releasing a demo that you can buy with full city roam etc. thats what the Spaniard said in the game shop to me :shock:
