Ok, so am new here getting a PS3 next week and have a few questions for ya.

1. PS3 GB: what is the dif between the 40GB and 80GB other than memory?

2. When you play GTA4 online I here on the playstation 3 you cant chat to other players while playing? (msg chat not headset)

and lastly...Is there any one here that prefers the xbox 360 over the ps3?

not yet but update 2.40 will bring in game xmb and in game messaging

XBox360 is out of date tbh - it blows in comparison to the PS3. For one thing it still uses a DVD ROM and for another you gotta play games to unlock its full power (which is no hardship but when I buy a games console I expect it to work fully immediately)

Would you be interested in buying my 60 GB PS3? Sorry to advertise here, but I couldn't help but notice that you are getting one, and we are both in the US. Check my topic in the member game trading, buying and selling section.

If you are not interested, the 80 GB is a far better version than the 40 GB. The lower version lacks PS2 backwards compatability and flash card readers. It also only has 2 USB ports, compared to 4 on all the other versions. Right now the 80 GB version comes bundled with MGS4 and Dual Shock 3, making it a far better deal as well.
