Is MSG 4 better than GTA IV

I never played any of the Metal Gear Solid Games, is it really that good? Is it better than GTA IV?

with the hype and appraisal its getting, im contemplating getting mgs, but ive never played any of the mgs, will this be a hinderence to me?

Not at all mmccx. I played the first mgs when it first came out and mgs3 snake eater a year or so ago on ps2. I never bothered with the other two or three games and I still picked it up fine. It just hard to get out of the COD run round and kill every thing mode.

To answer first question: Two complete different games. I personally preferred mgs4, gta bored me after about 5 hours play.

There are so many mayor factors about MGS.. The graphics online and the

gameplay are out of this world. Steath is the most important part of this

game too.. If you walk to fast the other team can hear your foot steps.

Close combat great too, Choke hold then the final blow. It took me a while to

get used to the game.. eg Rainbow 6 V2. Then after the actions and buttons

are now second nature... Fully recommended.

Think im going to pass on this game....if its not a run and gun game im not interested, im rubbish at stealth and just get bored....i like things fast and furious, which is why badcompany is better suited to my style....

lol thats all i did was run around shooting.... theres one bit where you have to be stealthy, the rest you do what you want

MGS4 is the best game ive played in years, the last game i played of this standard was probably final fantasy 7.

I wish i could thank hideo kojima and the mgs4 crew in person :P cause its worthy of such praise.

Certainly the game of this year so far it just has so much elements to it

Great stealth, great action, great story, great depth in weapons and items and possiblities.

Its just unbelievable and tottaly stunning at least to me anyway

Of course MGS4 is better! it has been rated 10/10 from most critics, all you have to do is play it to see why. I'am a fan of both but to be honest graphical and gameplay is miles better. You dnt have has much freedom to do wot the hell you wnt but you dnt even think about it when you have the world to save. Theres alot of ingame cut scenes this gets you even more into the story plus it gives a film effect aswell. To finish i traded in my GTA 5 for MGS4 lol

Long boring cutscenes? i would say long cutscenes but boring no .

Id rather watch long interesting cutscenes than short boring ones that basicaly tell me to kill somebody or smuggle some drugs.

Metal gear solid 4 is just 10 on everything there are no flaws.
