Big boss emblem tips

Figured I'd make a topic which could be used to provide tips for getting this emblem which is quite a challenge Especially Act III and start of ACT II.

So has anybody done it or doing it? Kinda sucks balls the way the credits actually count towards the end game time

- skip all cutscenes.
- press the 'PS' button instead of pressing pause when you're not playing.
- use V.ring shotgun ammo.
- in BnB boss fights: beat the beast with a lethal weapon, then the beauty with v.ring ammo.

Found out a tip for raven recently, one shot with rail gun at charge level 3.
Solar gun takes out beauty in 2 hits too.

You need to conserve Mk II ammo as well, since you can't buy any.

What was your time? Clocked in myself at 4.01 wanted under 4 hrs missed it by 2 min -_-

Is it better to do this? Do you get anything extra?

So I'm guessing that the frogs & ravens in the motorbike chase don't count as kills, or the geckos & troops on the south america chase. Someone please tell me I'm right, otherwise I'm fooked. If I'm not then what am I supposed to do during those levels, just sit there & get killed?

the only things that aren't classed as a kill are:
gekkos.
dwaf gekkos.
vamp (because you don't kill him)
Ocelot
BnB beast form
unmanned flying things.

everything else is, every Frog, every troop in south america etc. EVERYTHING.

If you tranq the beast forms and first frog encounter in act 1 you will get these statues (You have to pick it up during the beauty fight) and at the end of the game you will unlock the solar gun which KO's people and makes them drop items.

So what about the frogs in the bike chase level? I cant tranq them as I only have the smg avaliable but if I do nothing I fail the level.

you can switch weapons to the double barrel shotgun, just make sure you use the v.ring ammo

Can anyone give me any tips on sneaking around ?

I always seem to be doing well but either an enemy i've knocked out or my footsteps alerts someone.

Any tips would be appreciated.

When your sneaking carry as little items and weapons on you. also crouch when moving.Its what i do anyway. When i'm sneaking around i usually have my tranq gun and the solid eye equiped. Maybe the Moisin nagnant(sp?)
