A few made it on tonight, and my mic worked for a little while, must be a battery problem, will leave the headset on charge, and see if i can get on tomorrow night.

Some good games of domination,had a few problems with disconnecting from the party, does this happen often, or is it when the server is full and one of us doesn't connect in time?

I too have a tendency to imbibe before I play...could account for some off nights I suspect (including last night)!!! Personally trying to hold off drinking and hunting....

Am impressed with domination - needs more team work than deathmatch and needs good communication to succeed. Connection thing is a bit of a pain - not sure why - googled and nothing sensible has come up!

I found last night i can check message box while still being on cod4!!! Thought had to log out of cod4 to look as messages...but apparently not... so that knowledge should make it easier for us to meet up !!!

We can use this forum to show intention to be online in evening - I might be online tonight but probably not as I'm going out to dinner to celebrate getting a new job

I maybe taking this too seriously - but I was thinking it would be good to communicate easily about tips and advice and tactics...

People can send me their normal email address or we can communicate through the emails on this site? I guess if people get mics we can chat as well.... but thought we could do some covert stuff over email ????

Hi all oap ers, i haven't been able to get on much recently, should hopefully be able to make it thursday.

I think its not a bad idea john, the comms, i'm forever getting shot by people i just can't see and then shouting into my mic when i someone who is just about to get shot!

You cant play clan matches without you all have mics.

And regarding tactics, e-mail is ok, but you need to talk as a group, get feedback from each other and other alternatives.

I was in a very succesful clan for many years playing rtcw winning some major tournies.

I was clan leader, doing tactics and choosing squads and organising matches, unfortunately i havent the time or commitment these days plus i cant be arsed

Will gladly give you some input tho

some helpfull info sibe, number two well worth a read, if like me you not sure what the best combos are. there is also i sniping tutorial in there somewhere.

i shall redo some of my classes i think.

I personally don't want to take it that seriously - i"m just after little effort for maximum gain...and if we are still cr*p then so be it

I play mostly in the day if i play at all, and rarely in the evenings, which is strange considering i used to play into the wee small hours years ago.

To be honest like i said, i dont want to be in a clan looking for world domination, ive been in that situation, and, it took the fun out of it for me.

I'll make a concerted effort to join you on the evenings.

I've just added people and assumed if they don't like me they can block me I don't think the guys'll have a prob with you adding them... the point of our clan is we don't have a high school mentality - but then I suppose the clan thing is a bit high school "do ya wanna be in my gang" hmmmm.....

If you really drink too much and start singing "agadoo, doo, doo" all the time then prepare to be blocked
