Mature COD4 clan -players 25-35yrs old??

I seem to be wasting a lot of my time in the evenings playing cod4 online and thought there must be some other old geezers out there doing the same???

I'm not taking it too seriously - but would be good to have a laugh with like minded blokes and learn some better game play?

I'm not prestige level yet .... but can't be far off....can't remember exactly what rank I'm at.... honest!

I'm Looking to join or create a clan.

I know what ya mean, i love playin the game, but cant be arsed joining a clan full of kids saying pwned and talking bollox.

A clan for older lads seems like a good idea, but why is the cut off point 35

No cut-off intended.... just thought I'd give a rough guide as to mentality, which is obviously very ageist!! But it's obvious u get what I'm talking about!

Think its a good idea........for those least tolerant....

Our clan ZeRo has age groups ranging from 16 to 35 and has a nice balance....the younger guys seem to be better at the game....but the older guys seem to add wizdom and experience to the dynamic......The young uns can get abit excited at times though and need to be reigned in from time to time...lol

on the whole i think zero its pretty well balanced......and id be interested in playing this mature team if it ever gets started.

You could be right!

Maybe there should be a reflex speed test as well and we could start up matches for slow people who are passed it!

My other reason for wanting older UK players is that currently I only have a projector to play the game on - which now it's summer time gives an ambient light problem - so I have to play late at night!!!

is/has this gone ahead? I managed to get my mic working over the weekend and all i seemed to do was play with silly kids or ol' jonny foriegner!

So far you and I are the only ones who have really expressed an interest in this clan. Maybe if this thread is bumped up to prominence we can get some more people interested.

I will prob be online next week so if you add sibe1000 to your freinds list ( I have some freinds already if you have some like minded players as freinds maybe we have a clan nearly made?).

Will do, i find it easier working together although its not always practical! i.e when i get blown to pieces with several grenades!!

Only got this game at the weekend, and found this on my first go last night, loads of swearing which i'm not against the odd word, but it was continuous, i just enjoy having a good old game, not to serious, not to bothered about the rankings, even though a few unlocks would be nice, i think i made it to level 7 last night, or rank 7, but be warned, i am very good at dying.

I will be on most nights if possible, so feel free to add me. Not got a mic yet, but may look to get one soon.

So count me in, hopefully a few more will be interested and we can get a good game going soon.

BTW....my reflexes are as quick as a snail.

im only 17 lol and im not looking to join yas, but i think its a good idea... and i wouldnt mind joining in some friendly matches... just to get away from the lil kids that seem to think they are big and hard if they start swearing over the internet??
