I enjoy COD 4 but i kinda suck at it.

depends on the weapon type
Assault rifle: M16
SMG: MP5
LMG: RPD
Shotgun: W1200
Sniper rifleL: M40a3

i'll be called a complete noob for this but try this set up. i use it most of the time for team deatmatch

m16 reddot, any pistol, 3 frags, stopping power and deep impct

for hardcore try

m16 or m4 with acog, silenced pistol, claymores, uav jammer and deep impact

works a treat for me. swap p90 or mp5 for m16 on small close quarter maps....

oooo and try to avoid dying...

play S&D if you play that game and get good at it try and target for 350 points at least in each s&d
in my opinion best gun is mp5, it has bad range but has good power

Get on to ground war to help speed up your reactions, with so many idiots running around you have to keep your eyes wide open. S&D matches will really help you with your movement and map knowledge cause you can't really just run around looking to get shot.

I wouldn't worry about completing your gun challanges at first, just find a set up you feel comfortable with and and get your practice in. Remember theres alway some one out there who is better and worse than you. Thats me and the latter being Phatboy lol.

I took out someone from the wooden bridge and he was on the other bridge on Overgrown (across the map) with an Mp5.. done it a few time son different maps, you just gotta tap shoot not keep your finger on it. ^_^

use L1 to aim and R1 to fire, and the 2 sticks on ur control pad help you move!
