Challenges

In COD4 do all of you aim to do the challenges to get your XP up or do you just play and if do the challenges accidentally?

There's one challenge i cant see how it's done, kill two people while in mid air... how the fcuk can you do this?

The only 1 i have done on perpose is to kill yourself by falling over 250ft LOL

I go for the challenges all the time !!
I always go for doing the marksman challenge on every weapon
for 1000 points a go as well as trying to do the other ones....

I've never done that 2 killstreak while airborne one though.
I've been jumping like a lunatic trying to kill 2 while in midair but I'm not
sure it works that way....Cos I thought I did it a few times...

Anyone else done this one ?? (P.S. can you use a Shotty cos the challenge expresses
that you must use bullets...)

And the kill yourself and someone else by cooking a grenade. I waitied for someone to walk by then start cooking the grenade and walking right behind them I felt like a terrorist... literally

it can be done on Bloc, on the SAS spawn side there's a stairway.
go up the stairs turn right and there's some rubble stopping you from going up the rest of the stairs.
stand on the rubble and kill 2 people.

Ha ha, brilliant...I regularly snipe from that spot, but never hang around for
long as its a typical sniper spot....

How's the 'kill someone by shooting an explosive through a wall' challenge for ya !!

Here's a list of the Elite ones...I did these a while ago,
I've to do them again !!


Some are easier than they look. Some of the ones I have above can be done by
getting a few kills and hiding, or even by just hiding.

Nice, but my method of just running and shooting would not cope with all that sneeking about!!!

I've done the 'How the ?' by pure accident. I just shot someone who was planting a claymore he then dropped a grenade which blew something else up killing someone behind him. I couldn't do that again in a million years...

I personally dont do challenges on purpose, i cant be arsed, i just play.


You seem to achieve many by just plying, if your bored and ya got a spare 10 minutes i might try and get a few tho

Dominoes one is probobly another hard one, you have to do a dominoes affect with explosives and kill someone at the end, i think there all done by accident though, you cant go looking for a row of claymores and someone at the end, it's impossible.

Another way is just cheat and get people you know in a room and set it all up but we dont do cheating round here

I've only got 4 regular challeges left to do....(Aside from the Headshot Challenges)

They are:
Counter Claymore
Return to Sender
Hot Potato (Every fckin' cooks their grenades now though)
Invincible (feckin difficult too)

I managed the How the? last night and I've trick to doing it.
Throw some C4 on the first landing of a flight of stairs,
wait at the second flight of stairs and aim your cursor at the C4 through one
of the upstands for the Banister rail.

Then just wait for someone to come along. Gotta be quick though or
the gey auto-aim'll start targeting the enemy instead !!

Anyone else got 'em all done or nearly all done ??

i did the survivalist just by hiding on bog, didnt see anyone for a whole game haha
