Bloody Lag

Now Im probably gone get flamed for posting this or told im wrong, but since installing the update 2.40/2.41 I have not had 1 decent game of COD4 coz of lag or loss of connection. I know it aint just me coz u hear people on their mics shouting about it aswell. All im saying is it was running perfect b4 the update and now its not. Is anyone else experiencing this?

i dunno what 2 do, ive got bt fastest broadband so i dont think thats the problem

mine is fine two, infact even better after the 2.41 update.

have you tired ressetting our router then manualy reconnecting it to the playstation?

Mines ok, until i play TD on Bog, its feckin ridiculous.

Is it cos its 18 player?

But sayin that, it doesnt do it on other maps playin TD?

i was lagging alot afew weeks ago, even in private matches. so i switched to wired and it's been fine.

i can host a 12 player match on every map without lag, except on Bog & wetworks.
it's not so much lag as it is a choppy framerate.

td only has 12 players ground war has 18 and it always lagged on bog on gw

it always lags on GW, the map doesn't matter
they should've made it like warhawk, that way you'd need a high bandwith to host bigger matches.

it doesnt matter what the host as cos its p2p, it will only be as fast as the person with the slowest connection cos ya d/l and u/l to everyone else

Sorry meant Ground war, had the game for months now but only just tried playing it.

Poor show that ya cant have an 18 player server which is playable.

Think ill stick to free for all

the way i thought it worked is if you're put in the lobby first, you host.
the host doesn't lag at all but if he/she has a bad connection, everyone else will.
if he/she has a good connection, you'll only lag if you have high ping.
