this is an interesting one - the big issue is that we have a FPS in a real real place (as opposed to a casino for example) the big difference is that this is in a religious place.
The power of modern day graphics can easily depicit this - and that is the real problem - graphics can now replicate real places in the world.
What the general public need to realise is that the gaming community (in general) can differentiate between real world and gaming world places - although they may look the same.
Big fans floating you up to the rooftops isn't real, but is fun.
Graphics can depicit "real" places, but the people who play them treat them as "game" places for fun.
A good thought to have a think about is that since Xbox live took off millions of people have been "killed" in these gaming worlds, but we all can go to work and school the next day - its a hobby, its interactive, its fun and the fast majority leave the combat situations when we turn off the console and put down the controller
Got to take the dog out now........
