vampirism

i decided i dislike being a vampire and so have begun the quest to find the cure, my only problem is, i have no idea where to find the grand soul gems. i have tried mystic emporium and theres none in there, ive found 3 in a chest in the mages guild but having trouble breaking the very hard lock, any one know where else i can find them?

well you could cheat and use the double item glitch otherwise go exploding caves and the like i know in them underground dadric fortresses theres a few iver im betting flawless knows of a treasure chest full of them

google the ps3 version its different then the others, you have 2 or how ever meny of the same scroll equip it and without exiting the inventory drop the item and how ever scrolls you had the equivalent items will drop

Why do you need grand soul jems... Use a cure disease potion or pray at a chapel in one of the major towns like cheydinal or something.

you need them for the cure quest along with other items for the woman that cooks up the cure potion

Never done that quest o.o. People kept saying it was glitched

well i dont want to be a vampire anymore so have to do this quest, also you cant get rid of vampirism by using cure disease potions and praying at the chapels

I heard somewhere that Vampires cant get Aids? Whats everyone's view?

Yes you can. Just not in that particular quest it seems but chapels and cure disease potions/spells work in other cases.

hi guys,
im stuck too as a vampire and its annoying me i just developed these symptons on there own,i cant go out in the daylight cause i die which means i can only travel at night,meaning i miss thestunning views pluis every where is shut at night but i dont see any option to bite people either.just the downsides.
ive tried using potions other than that im stuck and frustrated as it is i feel like im just wandering through not knowing what im dolng.
ive done a few side quests and have worked out how to sell things and raise money but i just seem to find myself just doing that.
oh yeah and i paid 500 gold half of my total balance,instead of stealing one and getting arrested.and guess what it died!!!grrr!!!

If you have been a vampire for longer than 3 days (in game time) then you are stuck as it forever. Unless you have an earlier save you are screwed mate.

or unless he does the cure for vamparsim quest, go speak to rufio i think his name is in the mages guild, then he tells you to go see the count in skingrad, the he tell you to go see an old woman, then she want some soul gems before shell will tell you what ingrediants to get, then you get the ingrediants, giving her the vampire dust last, this is important, then she gives you to viles on cure vampirism and hey presto you drink it. and you can never contract the disease again.

when you fight vampires sometimes they can pass on the vampirism in the fight, also the guy in the dark brotherhood asks if you want to be bitten thats what i did

Just got full blown vampirism myself, should have dealt with it earlier really as the nightmares and skills advanced but i thought id deal with a few quests first, ****, it really screws the game up in my opinion, there can't honestly be any advantages to vampirism, other than a few skills you aquire it all seams detrimental to the game and unfortunatly the last save i have will take me back 4 levels, lesson learnt there me thinks.
I had to spend 12 game hours hiding in a cave yesterday just to hide from the sun lol, so i suppose its pretty cool as a role playing device, but i would warn any new players to carry at least one cure disease potion with them when dealing with the undead, unless you want the game to take a strange and difficult turn.
im going to try to get this cured but im prepared for the glitch that has been mentioned
