Downloadable content carnage !!!

Ok guys, got some bad news for you all. I'm not 100% sure if its true but if it were i wouldn't be surprised at sony at all.
Not that it's complete carnage but it is a kick in the teeth. While browsing the net and downloading some podcasts I came across the same thing with oblivion on ps3. Xbox 360 does not have this problem but with ps3 you can only have 1 piece of downloaded content at any 1 time active. This of course means if you download nights of the nine and the horse armour you can't play nights of the nine with armour on your horse.

Nights of Nine may be pre-install on the ps3 version. Anyway downloading 1 thing at a time on games is not uncommon.

Sorry but you must have read it wrong. It doesn't say downloading 1 thing at a time (which i'd be okay with) it says using 1 thing at a time. So if you download for example a new sword for the game AND some new playable characters (none of these downloads are real) you can't have 1 of the new characters wielding the downloaded sword.(which im not okay with)

Meh.... the game is great without any of the add ons anyway. Nights of the nine is part of the game in the ps3 version as well.

No, ill explain it again.
You can download as much content as you like. You can use as much content as you like. What you cant do is use 2 of the pieces of content at a time.
Example : I just downloaded a new sword for the game. I just downloaded a new gun for the game aswell. I can't use both of them at once. So i cant have the sword and the gun in my inventory at the same time.

No problem. I think sony might fix this but it will be a great game anyway. Is it out at launch ?

yeah, I heard that too. I'm pretty sure it's true. I forget now,m but it was something to do with the memory and stuff. Ah well, still a great game. And yeah, It's a launch game!

Im gona buy this a launch because I had to force myself to put down the 360 version so i could still have some fun playing the ps3 one. I did think this game was crap but when i played it again i changed my mind.

From what i know, Oblivions held back because sony decided not only to put the Kights of the nine (which we already knew was comin on it) but because there was so much space left on the disk they decided to put the shivering isles on aswell. (cant get much better than this eh)

Specific content i'm unsure about as for the horse armour, from what i have seen there will be no horse armour (apparently the ps3 rendering made it look rubish, but perhaps they will design a new one)

Though i'm confident sony will allow a user to use more than one content.

shivering isles is NOT on the PS3 version.
