Cant use magic

What am I doing wrong?

I cant use magic. When I press R2, nothing happens,

I go into the menu and select "Flare" and nothing, I try selecting different things but still nada.

The strange thing is it was working fine before the game froze up on me yesterday, Turned it on today and I have this problem,

Any ideas anyone?

have you been silenced? what is your birthsign? on the HUD there's 3 bars (Red, Blue, Green), is the Blue full?

Right, Dont think so.

I did meet a will-o-the-wisp, Attacked him and he fought back,

Intelligence and willpower were being drained but I got that sorted by my friendly local church.

Does your intelligence or willpower need to be up over a certin level maybe? Its at 37 now after that b*stard drained me

Im just grasping at straws now as I dont want to play on without being able to use magic or cast spells.

And I REALLY dont want to restart the game

Erm, were you on a mission when your game froze? If you were, did you resume the auto save when you restarted up oblivion or your normal save because that could be the problem because that happened to me once but I couldn't use any items either. All I had to do was resume the original save not the auto one from the last save point before game crashed. If its not that I have no idea, is there a way to send people your saved games. If so I could have a look and I am sure I would figure it out eventually lol.

yes there is a way.

he saves the game file onto a memory stick, then sends it to you, you create all the nessacery files and then copy it onto you memory stick, and plug it into the ps3 and press copy from memory stick.

Ill have a look at that now Flawless. I think you could be onto something, It means Ill have to go back AGES and do lots of missions again but at least its better than starting again.

I dont have any saves from before the crash!!

Fcukbox!! Looks like its back to the start, Aw well, I had just restarted about 2 weeks ago and there's a few things I would differently anyway so meh.

Cheers for clearing it up though flaw. I was pullin me hair out!!

Don't delete your original game though. I will look around and see if I can find a fix.

Lol I wouldn't go that far even though If I was to restart the game though I could finish it in like an eighth of the time it took me originally lol.
