my pwaystation has died after a year and half! tis a black day!

anyhoo, just turned it on, green light came on then orange then flashy red, gutted due to the massive amount of PORN i had saved on the hard drive.
not really upset, she gave a good ride and i knew it would happen some time. a year and a half, must have been on every day since i bought it.

warrenty ran out months ago, am i still in line for a refurb or do i have to pay them?

post as much info on returning ps3s as you can please, danke!

yup 60 gigawatts. i'd put up with a refurb no problem, just sucks not having a playstation

i'd boot up the 360 but i'm pretty sure my dead playstation wouldn't appreciate it so out of courstesy, i'm ignoring the 360's plea to be put on the top shelf and played with

The warranty is 1 year. You have to pay to get it repaired. Me thinks its 200 euro (around £130)

just read, if the warranty seal is still intact(which is mofo is), they'll replace it even if it's out of warranty.

oo yeah all playstations bought before jan 07 have a life time warranty forgot about that
