TVersity - it works but I'm not sure how...

Hi All,

I have TVersity and it seems to be working great but I'm stumped by something.

I'm unsure how my PS3 has connected with TVersity.

I installed it on my PC and got it running but did nothing on the PS3. As if by magic the TVersity logo appeared in music, photo and movies (on my PS3) and I am able to view/listen/watch all the media I throw at it from my PC! Great!

I just worried that other PS3 owners may be able to view the media that I watch through my PS3. How have my PC and PS3 linked together? How can I be sure that no-one else can link with my PC?

it uses same ip , and it connects up through your router, so unless some is tappin into your internet with a ps3 then the answer is no to any1 else seeing your granny porn teehee J/K,,, u will b alright as long as your net has a password

your router is also your lan, and any computer on that lan can see anything cnnected to it

thats kind of right like mmccx says its broadcast over ur network,aka lan and the ps3 has media server funtionality
