ps3 wont update games

i have a problem i cant download game updates i gets to 99% and stops then comes up with a error message so this means i cant play cod4 or anyother games that needs updates plzzz helppppp

Try downloading to a PC and copying it to the ps3

i dont thin ya can download game updates on a pc, i think its just system updates ya can do
